The coveted redshirt freshman will have three years of eligibility left.
People are always ragging on Mondays. I’ve never understood that. It’s a new week, a new opportunity! Grab the bull by the horns and get your week started off right.
Eli Drinkwitz understands that, and that’s why he started week two of the portal window with a hat trick of commitments that will shape the 2025 Mizzou defense and beyond. It started with Northern Illinois’ Santana Banner, continued with Nebraska’s Mikai Gbayor and ended (maybe? never count Drink out!) with yet another impact commitment.

If you’ve been chatting with us on Rock M+, you’ll know that many of us at Rock M are very high on Trotter. It doesn’t take much research to find out why. Trotter was a monster in his true freshman season in Morgantown, totaling 93 tackles, two defended passes and an interception. Those 93 tackles were good enough for second on the Mountaineers. Pro Football Focus agreed, naming him the second-highest-graded tackler on the team. And for what it’s worth: the only player graded higher played about 400 fewer snaps.
Trotter comes to Mizzou with three years of eligibility, setting up the middle of the Tigers defense for success for the next few seasons.
