The Tigers add to their specialists unit with an experienced punter and holder.

Happy Sunday! You don’t have any plans today, say around noon Central Time, do you?

Oh, you do? Well, let’s get this done quickly, shall we?

On Sunday, Mizzou continued adding to its transfer class with the commitment of senior punter Connor Weselman.

Weselman spent the past four years at Stanford, where he mostly served as a holder on placekicks. He saw extended time as punter in 2023, averaging 42.2 yards per kick, with a seven 50+ yarders and a long of 59 yards.

Mizzou was looking to add to its specialists room after Orion Phillips transferred to Utah earlier this month. Weselman’s commitment gives the Tigers a scholarship punter to replace the graduating Luke Bauer.
