Like, obviously it’s not… but is it?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Missouri Tigers fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

So… this is where we’re at now, huh? Three losses and out?

I jest. Sort of. Maybe. I’m not sure. That’s the whole point of this post!

The stated goal from the beginning of the season — hell, Drinkwitz reiterated it as recently as last weekend — was the College Football Playoff. Even with two blowout losses on their resume, the outside possibility existed that Mizzou could be in the running. And even though they played well on the road against South Carolina, something better teams than Mizzou haven’t been able to do, three losses is three losses. Mizzou’s bid for a CFP slot is in the can.

A double-digit win season is still on the table. As we’ve pointed out in the recent past, those don’t grow on trees. And nine-win regular seasons are still pretty cool, especially when they (hypothetically) feature wins over Oklahoma, Auburn and Arkansas. But it’s still not what we wanted. So what is it really worth?

That’s for you to decide… in this week’s edition of Mizzou Football Reacts!
