Mizzou fans have been pleased with the transfer class’s impact on the Tigers.
Do you want to hear something shocking? At this point next month, we’ll be deeper in conversation about the transfer portal and new Tiger players than actual football. Bananas, I say. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
Navigating the portal has become one of the biggest parts of the annual football cycle, and no team — no matter how big or small — is immune to its effects. Eli Drinkwitz and his staff have proven themselves pretty adept at doing so, and it’s time to start thinking ahead.
BUT BEFORE WE DO THAT! Let’s think backward, specifically toward the class that just completed its first — and in some cases, only — season at Mizzou. We asked y’all to grade the 2024 class based on its impact, and here’s what you thought:

Pretty good! I see one percent of you are difficult to please while the vast majority of you are generally happy with how the new guys performed.
We also asked who you thought the most impactful transfer was. This one felt like a runaway before it even started.

I have to admit that I’m both surprised and delighted that Chris McClellan got so much of the vote. I personally think he has an argument as Mizzou’s best defensive player this season, but it’s hard to pick against Noel, especially with what he’s show when he’s healthy.
