Mizzou has lost three former blue-chippers to the portal in the past week. Should we be concerned?

The transfer portal is a funny thing. Well, not quite funny, like… umm… anyway, it’s a thing.
Mizzou has been one of the most active teams in the country (per usual) in the transfer portal, signing four players in the first week of the window’s opening. More is yet to be done, though, especially in the face of a few significant departures.
Williams Nwaneri, Jaylen Brown and Kewan Lacy were three feature members of Mizzou’s vaunted 2024 recruiting class, and all three saw the field to varying degrees as true freshmen. That wasn’t enough to keep them out of the portal, however, and all three have found new homes relatively quickly.
The question, then, is this: Should we be concerned? We know that Eli Drinkwitz has proven to be an adept recruiter of the transfer portal, as many of Mizzou’s best talents of the past few seasons have been transfers. But at what point should he be prioritizing the guys he brings in from high school? Should he be giving them more opportunities sooner?
That’s what we want to know this week. Are you worried after the departures of Nwaneri, Brown and Lacy? Either way, let us know in the comments!
