Mizzou needs a lot of help in the portal. Most of all? They need reinforcement in the trenches.
The first week of the transfer portal window hasn’t been uneventful for Missouri — the Tigers have lost some young depth in the EDGE room, specifically young, quality depth in Williams Nwaneri and Jaylen Brown. But apart from a few other rotational players, things have been quiet around Columbia. Well, kind of.
You can chat with us on Rock M+ or check our official Transfer Tracker for the latest news and rumors. But from what we know as of now, the staff is putting a lot of effort into an initial group of players.
With the home front being quiet as of now, we asked y’all what positions you would prioritize in the transfer portal (apart from QB, obviously.) With Missouri looking for players all over the roster, the priority areas stand out pretty clearly based on your answers:

Sixty-nine percent of you (nice!) voted for reinforcements on either the offensive or defensive line. That makes a lot of sense, especially on offense. The Tigers are losing quality three starters in Armand Membou, Cam’Ron Johnson and Marcus Bryant, the former two being named to multiple All-SEC lists. Connor Tollison and Cayden Green are strong pieces to bring back, but last time I checked, two players can’t make an offensive line.
We also asked y’all how you felt about Mizzou’s bowl placement, in which they’ll head to Nashville to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Nearly two-thirds of you voted as I would’ve:

Bowl games! They’re fine!
