Can Eli Drinkwitz lock in most of his Top 25 recruiting class? Follow along with our National Signing Day updates!
The first ever fax machine, named the “printing telegraph”, was invented in 1843.
The samurai were officially abolished as a caste in Japanese society during the Meiji Restoration in 1867.
Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at Ford’s Theater in 1865.
Which means there was a 22-year window in which a samurai could have sent a fax to Abraham Lincoln.
This week, a much more important use of the fax machine will be used as Missouri’s current verbal commits will be faxing in their National Letters of Intent in order to solidify their place among Missouri’s scholarship football players for the 2025 season.
(Did that intro sound familiar? That’s because it’s the same one we use every damn year!)
Mizzou is chasing its second consecutive 10-win season with a bowl game on the horizon, but all attention at the moment is on how the Tigers will reload for another run at success in 2025. And while the transfer portal will take up the majority of the offseason, we know that good high school recruiting is still the best way to sustain successful programs in college football.
We’ve come to expect a lot of Eli Drinkwitz’s high school classes, and the #ZouLive25 class maintains the standards Drink has set for himself. Here’s how this year’s class ranks thus far:
247 Sports: 24th overall, 12th in the SEC
On3: 18th overall, 11th in the SEC
Rivals: 31st overall, 15th in the SEC
A little bit of variance here, but On3 is the rising star of the recruiting analyst game and they rate Mizzou highest of all. And there could still be room to rise! Or fall. But we won’t think about that, huh?
We’ll be updating this link all day with new signees, recruits, flips and all the other good stuff we’ve come to associate with National Signing Day.
Congratulations to all our new football Tigers! M-I-Z…
