On a snowy Senior Night rivalry game, three seniors led the way for the Tigers’ ninth victory of 2024.

1. Marcus Carroll

If Marcus Carroll spent the first two-thirds of Mizzou’s season being talked about as the lesser of a two-headed monster, he spent the final third reminding Tiger fans why they were so excited to get his commitment last offseason.

In a game where Eli Drinkwitz said you needed to want to tackle someone, Carroll’s hard-driving style made life brutal for Arkansas’ defenses. In arguably his best game in black-and-gold, Carroll racked up 90 yards rushing and two key touchdowns, including one capped by a memorable snow angel celebration that seems destined to live on as a signature moment of the season.

2. Theo Wease, Jr.

How will we remember Theo Wease, Jr. in a Tigers uniform? It’s a conversation we’ll have over the next few months. But one thing we will have to consider: his penchant for big moments. Wease only had four catches on a pass-starved evening, but his 70-yard catch-and-run sparked Mizzou’s offense and handed the momentum back to Missouri in a key moment of the game. He led the way with 100 yards receiving, adding to his career-best totals to end the 2024 season.

3. Johnny Walker, Jr.

On what may have been his last night as a Tiger, the senior defensive end capped a memorable campaign with flash. Apart from forcing two key fumbles that resulted in points, Walker led the team in tackles with 11, logged a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss. JWJ was a menace in the snow, leading the way for yet another sterling Tiger defensive performance.
