Transfer Portal season is upon us. May god have mercy on our souls. Stay up-to-date on the latest information, offers, rumors, etc.

Pre-Portal Updates

December 5: It’s an open secret that Eli Drinkwitz is looking for a veteran QB to replace Brady Cook for 2025. Matt Zollers is coming off a serious ankle injury, and Drinkwitz will want to give him plenty of time to both heal and get up to speed with the college game. Luckily, there are plenty of options emerging in the portal.

USC starter Miller Moss is the big name that everyone is targeting thus far. The No. 2 QB in On3’s transfer portal rankings has no shortage of suitors, though it appears that Mizzou has his ear. On3 is reporting that he is scheduling a visit to Columbia soon.

Another name to look out for is one Tiger fans will be intimately familiar with: Texas A&M’s Connor Weigman. Shortly after dismantling the Tigers earlier this season, Weigman lost his starting spot to Marcel Reed, and now he’s looking for a new home. Reports suggest Mizzou has offered him, though that might create a bit of a logjam behind center as Weigman still has a few years of eligibility remaining. You never apologize for going to get a good veteran QB however. The roster spots will work themselves out.

In concrete news, rising senior WR Mekhi Miller is planning to enter the transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports. Miller logged 11 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown in 2023, but was relegated to a smaller role in 2024.

December 2: DB Philip Roche is no longer listed on Mizzou’s online roster and intends to enter the transfer portal
