A 10-win season is still on the table, but Mizzou will need to take care of business at home against Oklahoma on Saturday night with hopes of improving their bowl standing.
With four games remaining, let’s take a look at the latest bowl projections for Missouri — with Las Vegas being a popular destination for the Tigers at the moment.
CBS: Citrus Bowl vs Indiana in Orlando, Florida (December 31st)
Action Network: TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs Louisville in Jacksonville, Florida (January 2nd)
247Sports: Las Vegas Bowl vs Utah (December 27th)
“Even if the Tigers win out and finish 10-2, two top-20 teams blew them out, and their best win would be Vanderbilt. Road setbacks against Texas A&M and Alabama are tough to overlook for Eli Drinkwitz’s squad. Utah, the preseason favorite to win the Big 12, hasn’t won a conference game yet this season and has to beat UCF along with one of three top 25 opponents it faces down the stretch to get to six wins.”
Athlon Sports: Liberty Bowl vs West Virginia in Memphis, Tennessee (December 27th)
College Football News: Las Vegas Bowl vs Washington State (December 27th)
College Football Network: Texas Bowl vs Kansas State (December 31st)
Saturday Down South: TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs Louisville in Jacksonville, Florida (January 2nd)
USA Today: Las Vegas Bowl vs Utah (December 27th)
Sporting News: Texas Bowl vs TCU (December 31st)
Total Count: Las Vegas (4), Gator (2), Texas (2), Music City (1), Citrus (1), Liberty (1)
A lot can happen in these next four weeks, and if Missouri can get to 10-2, who knows where they will land? Let’s see how everything plays out.
