The Morning Commute for Wednesday, December 12

Welcome to the Morning Commute

Today we’re talking about Mizzou Football’s 2025 schedule

Auburn. Vanderbilt. Oklahoma. Arkansas. That’s it. Those are Mizzou Football’s only road games in 2025. The Tigers have EIGHT home games and four road games next season.

Not only do the Tigers have eight home games, but they start the season with six in a row at Faurot Field with Central Arkansas on August 30th, then the Border War returns vs kU on September 6th.

Mizzou will host South Carolina in their SEC opener on September 20th as the Tigers look to take back the Mayor’s Cup. Per reports, the Homecoming game will be on September 27th vs UMass.

Here’s Mizzou’s full 2025 schedule that was announced Wednesday night on the SEC Network.

Quentin Corpuel will have more on the 2025 schedule later with his takeaways.

“In no way would I have ever thought an SEC team with a 10-2 record and a top-20 rated schedule would ever NOT make the 12-team tournament.”

Mizzou wouldn’t have been a playoff team, even at 10-2. That’s hard to believe.

“Despite the wealth of QB options the Tigers have, there’s no one on the roster that has proven the ability to be a consistent, high-performing Power Four starter.”

Josh takes a look at the transfer portal QB situation for Mizzou.

“The season’s not over yet, and neither are Best Bets as we dip our two into the first two bowl games of the season as well as the Army/Navy game. Let’s do it!”

Even in a light week for College Football, Nathan previews Army vs Navy and other bowl games from a betting angle.

“A trip to the Elite Eight and likely matchup with the top national seed Pitt on the line.”
